1/8 t. Cayenne Pepper
¼ C. Italian Shredded Cheese
6 Slider Rolls
1.5 T. Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar
1/4 C. Mayonnaise
Instructions
Prepare Your Ingredients
Wash and dry your produce.
Roughly chop the basil to make about 3 Tbsp. and small dice the tomato, place both in a medium bowl.
Peel and quarter the cucumber (use ½ if large), then slice into ¼" pieces.
Remove thick stems and roughly chop the dill to make about 1 Tbsp.
Combine the cucumber, dill, and rice wine vinegar in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Mince 3 cloves garlic.
Make the Bruschetta
Mix in 1/3 of the garlic, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a little salt and pepper to the basil and tomato mixture.
Make the Burgers
Mix together the ground turkey, shredded cheese, ½ of the remaining garlic and a little salt and pepper.
Form mixture into 6 small patties about ½" thick each, and rub with a little olive oil.
Use your thumb to form a small dimple in the center of each patty to allow the burgers to cook evenly without swelling.
Grill or Pan-Sear the Burgers
GRILL: Grease your grill and heat over medium-high.
Cook, starting dimple side up, 4 - 6 minutes per side with the lid closed.
STOVETOP: Heat ½ Tbsp. olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and cook the burgers starting dimple side up, 3 - 5 minutes per side (add oil if pan dries).
Make the Avocado Mayo
While the burgers cook, slice the avocado in half and remove the pit.
Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh, and place in a medium bowl.
Add the mayonnaise, remaining garlic, and cayenne pepper.
Use a fork to mash the avocado chunks and to mix everything together well.
Plating
Toast the rolls to your liking.
After toasting, spread desired avocado mayo on bottom half of the roll.
Top with a turkey burger, bruschetta, and the top half of the roll.
Place cucumber salad in bowls or serve alongside the sliders. Enjoy!
